Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. The producer was also, costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. For her last year, she was a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut.
